We are an Independent Bible believing, Baptist Church. Our desire is to proclaim Salvation in Jesus Christ to our community, and live our lives according to His divine plan. We would invite you to experience, not a religion, but a relationship with Jesus Christ our savior. If you live in our area, we would love to have you join in the loving fellowship of this family of God at First Baptist Church. You will find us to be common small town people from every walk of life united together to serve the one who hath called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. We enjoy our Christian life, and hold strong to the eternal truths of the Bible. We do not follow after the cunningly devised fables and fads of modern Christianity. We have found that the King James Bible still works just fine, modesty and morality are not out dated, the old hymns of the faith are still good, and that God's plan for the family is still the best. |
Reformers Unanimous
Reformers Unanimous is the fastest growing and most effective addictions program in America. We meet at First Baptist Church every Friday night from 7-9 PM. RU is more than an addictions program, it is a Discipleship program that will teach you how to have a real walk with God. We have seen many people delivered from drugs (legal and illegal), alcohol, tobacco, pornography, anger, depression, etc. We have also seen God put lives and homes back together, many of whom thought they had no addictions. Come visit us on Friday night and see how “the truth can make you free”.Click Here to find out more!

Jail Ministry
Chaplain Don Martino, visits regularly in the Lee County Jail in Dixon holding Bible studies and counseling with inmates. Chaplain Martino also has been involved with the Lee county court systems drug court program, as well as doing correspondence Bible classes with inmates in state penitentiaries. This ministry operates through the training and cooperation of "Law and Grace Ministries". Our goal is not only to reach the incarcerated with the gospel, but also to minister to their families, the victims of crime, and law enforcement personnel on every level.
